Support

If an alarm didn't do what you expected, that's the most important kind of bug we can hear about. Email us, and check the answers below first — most morning problems have the same few causes.

Contact us

Email is the fastest way to reach us: support@workyloop.com. We usually reply within one or two business days.

If it's about a specific morning, tell us the phone and OS version, the time the alarm was set for, and what actually happened — silence, sound with no screen, or a screen you couldn't get past. Those three cases have completely different causes and knowing which one you hit saves us both a round trip.

Common questions

Start here — especially for an alarm that didn't ring.

My alarm didn't ring at all

On Android, the usual cause is battery optimization putting Waky to sleep. Open your system settings, find Waky under battery, and set it to unrestricted. On iPhone, check the ringer switch and any Focus or sleep schedule that might be silencing it — and make sure Waky still has notification permission.

It made noise but no screen appeared

That's Android with notification permission declined: the alarm can still play sound, but it isn't allowed to put the ringing screen in front of you, so there's no way to reach the mission. Grant Waky notification permission in system settings and it will behave properly again.

The alarm is quiet on iPhone even though the volume is up

If the physical Silent switch is on, iOS cuts an alarm short after a few seconds. No app is permitted to read that switch, so Waky can't warn you about it either. If you sleep with the ringer off, test an alarm before you rely on one.

How do I stop an alarm without doing the mission?

Switch the alarm off in the app, or delete it. During the ringing itself the mission is the intended way out — that's the entire point of Waky — but nothing is holding your phone hostage, and you can always turn the alarm off from the list.

I woke up but my streak reset

A wake-up counts when the mission is finished inside your streak window, which you can change under Settings then Alarm settings. If you finished the mission well after the alarm, it may have fallen outside that window. Email us the date and we'll look at what the server recorded.

I paid and nothing unlocked

Open Settings and tap Restore Purchases, making sure you're signed in to the same Apple or Google account you paid with. If it still won't unlock, email us with the store receipt and we'll sort it out.

How do I delete my account and data?

In the app, open Settings and use Delete my data. It removes your account and everything attached to it, cancels any alarms Waky has scheduled on the device, and can't be undone. Purchases are held by Apple or Google and aren't affected.

Still stuck? Tell us what the alarm did and we'll get to the bottom of it.
